Darlene Palmer

Born and raised in the Indian Valley, Darlene Palmer has always felt the need to serve her community. A mother of three Souderton Alum, Darlene found joy in volunteering at West Broad Street Elementary, serving at Calvary Church of Souderton, serving as a committee member for local Scouts, and delivering Meals on Wheels to residents during Covid. Teaching yoga at Saha is another opportunity for Darlene to serve the community she holds near and dear to her heart.

Darlene started practicing the “asana” part of yoga in 2010. As she practiced this physical part of yoga, she began to heal emotionally through the body mind connection that is always proving itself to be at the forefront of her journey to well-being. In addition to asana, she credits her faith in God, meditation, ayurveda and energy work that compliments her yoga practice. To observe how her life has been everchanging throughout the years, Darlene is in awe observing the past, counting her blessings and taking the good with the bad, knowing it is all part of the plan. Knowing there is so much more to learn about yoga, she is simply walking the path set before her one step at a time, without rushing and cherishing these beautiful moments.

Darlene trained under the wonderful teachers at Shanteel Yoga Sanctuary and completed her 200 Hr YTT in June of 2023. She is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT®) through Yoga Alliance and holds certificates in Herbology and Crystal Singing Bowls. Off the mat, Darlene enjoys golfing, hiking, live music, cooking and creating essential oil blends, serums, soaps and candles.
